The Iranian Red Crescent Society had a booth in FASA. As a former ICRC staff,
I HAD to stop and greet the people promoting their activiites and collecting funds !
Darabgerd: One of the oldest cities dated to Achaemenid Era (550–330 BC).
Around this ancient city, there is a huge conical wall (originally more than 10 m high) built of stone, lime and clay. Erosion process destroyed the wall, which is only 7 m high because of erosion, today.
Staff from the tourist office wanted to have my comments on the ruins. I was interviewd...
